About Me

About Me

I am a Board Certified Interventionist with extensive experience in service to individuals, couples and families. As a mature African American family man with a long history of success gleaned from 30+ years of entrepreneurial accomplishment I have blended this experience into delivering psychological and consultant services throughout NYC's Fortune 500. I have been a Preferred Provider for numerous corporate EAPs and Wellness Programs to various Wall St and Legal Institutions. My Executive Coaching and Stress Management services have been widely used over the past 18 years. The list of professional references is long.

My background is in fundamental psychodynamic theories developed in working with individuals, families, and groups; as well as with a broad spectrum of neurotics with assorted mood, anxiety, adjustment and personality disorders. My education, training and supervision are in classic and modern group psychoanalytic psychotherapy. My focus, however, is on my patients' current conflicts and current dynamic patterns. I work out of an eclectic mix of crisis intervention, brief, and long term individual and group psychotherapy.
The treatment is of a patient's problems with themselves and others rather than on the transference neurosis.
